Recipe

Colby Jack Cheeseburger Pinwheels

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups Colby Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • ½ cup onion, finely diced or 2 tbsp dried minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp Worchester Sauce

Step 1

Preheat oven Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat.

Step 2

Cook the filling in a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Season with garlic powder, Worchester, salt and pepper. Drain excess fat, set aside

Step 3

Rlout the dough Unroll pizza dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.

Step 4

Assemble Spread ketchup and mustard with a brush or spoon across pizza dough. Evenly spread the beef mixture over the dough, then sprinkle with Colby Jack cheese.

Step 5

Roll & slice Roll tightly into a log, then slice into 1-inch rounds.

Step 6

6Place pinwheels cut-side up on the baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden and cooked through.

Step 7

Serve Let cool slightly and serve warm.
