Recipe

Prairie Heat BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders

  • Prep – 10 min
  • Cook – 10 min
  • Serves – 8
Ingredients
  • • 2 cups Prairie Heat Cheese, shredded
  • • 2 cups cooked pulled pork
  • • ½ cup honey BBQ sauce
  • • 9 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls also work well)
  • • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • • ½ teaspoon poppy seeds
  • • 1 teaspoon Worchester sauce
  • • Dill pickle slices or chunks
  • • Optional: thin sliced red onion

Step 1

Prepare the Pork In a bowl, toss the pulled pork with the honey BBQ sauce until lightly coated.

Step 2

Build the Sliders Slice slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish. Layer with: • BBQ pulled pork • Shredded Prairie Heat Cheese • optional red onion Place the top buns over the sliders.

Step 3

Butter the Tops Mix melted butter with garlic powder, poppy seeds, and Worchester sauce. Brush over the tops of the buns.

Step 4

Bake Bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the sliders are warm and lightly toasted.

Step 5

Serve Separate the sliders, garnish with pickles and a toothpick and serve warm. Serving Tip: Creamy coleslaw makes the perfect side dish to this show stopping dish. The cool crunch pairs perfectly with the smoky heat of Prairie Heat Cheese.
