Recipe

Smoked Cheddar & Apple Grilled Focaccia

  • Serves – 4
Ingredients
  • Herbed Focaccia bread Sliced lengthwise in half
  • 8 oz smoked cheddar cheese, sliced or shredded
  • 1 crisp apple (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith), thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2–3 tbsp Dimock Butter, softened

Step 1

Prep the bread Spread butter on both open sides of bread then spread a thin layer of Dijon.

Step 2

Build the sandwiches Layer 1/2 smoked cheddar, apple slices, and chicken. Then add the other ½ smoked cheddar on top. Place the other piece of bread on top, Herb side up.

Step 3

Cook Place in 350-degree oven for 10-15 min until heated through, cheese is melted, and top is golden. You can also use a panini press or air fryer.

Step 4

Serve Remove from heat, let rest briefly, then slice and serve warm.
